OUR PHILOSOPHY
Chestnut Farm is a professional training and competition establishment focused on producing quality sporthorses world wide. Our primary equestrian base is located in East Flanders, Belgium. With operations extending into North America, Chestnut Farm brings together an international approach to sport horse development, rider training, competition management, and sales. Our program is structured by the emphasis on long-term development of both horse and rider. Each partnership is approached individually, with emphasis on establishing strong foundations, building confidence, and performance, and preparing horses and athletes to progress through the sport at the highest level. From young and developing horses to established competition horses, training is tailored to the needs, goals, and stage of each partnership. We believe meaningful results are built over time. Every horse and rider develops at a different pace, and successful; partnerships require thoughtful training, appropriate competition, and careful management throughout their progression. Chestnut Farm combines professional expertise with a considered individual approach—developing horses and riders with the objective of creating lasting partnerships and preparing them for the highest level of sport.Â

Our work encompasses the development of young horses. competition preparation, performance refinement, and the continued education of established sporthorses. Each stage is carefully managed to create horses that are confident, rideable, competitive, and prepared for a long-term career in the sport.Â
RIDER DEVELOPMENT
Chestnut Farm works alongside riders at every stage of their development, from establishing the fundamentals to preparing for high-level competition. Training is focused not only on technical progression, but on developing the understanding, consistency, and decision-making required to become a capable and confident competitor. Through structured training and competition experience, riders are supported in developing their own skills while learning to build stronger, more effective partnerships with their horses.Â
